Hi! Sorry for not having an update recently, so many projects I'm working on! Busy busy. But have you seen? My sequel to Artists of a Dead World, Gardens of a New World has been released! As you might have read in my previous post about this series, this world was originally created for fun in creative mode modded Minecraft, where a friend and I came up with a huge story for.
The world in Gardens of a New World was a location in the world that would only appear near the very end. This world was inspired by the Distortion World from Pokemon Platinum, and the End of Time from Chrono Trigger. Below are a few screenshots from that world, and screenshots from the game to compare.

That's about all the comparison pictures I have, unfortnately because that Minecraft modpack no longer works, I can not go back and take more screenshots. But this game was my best attempt at bringing that part of the world back to life, and I think I did a better job at making this place be a strange void realm that gets the feeling across than in the original.
The original there was planned to be a big supercomputer type object at the very end, which we see the character Duke toying with at the end of Gardnes of a New World. That originally never got made.
So, if you played maybe you are wondering about this world still. Well, I have been wondering what I might do next. I don't know if I want to explain this entire world, that would take a lot of effort, but, I have been thinking of doing a prequel to Artists of a Dead World, were you get to explore more of that city, and witness some events that occour. Maybe for next year's Madvent. We'll see! I did start planning THIS game at the end of last year's Madvent. Originally, I had planned for it to have actual gardens you could plant vegetables and fruits in, but the deadline ended up sneaking up on me and I decided to scrap that and do a simple exploration game again. Probably for the best, with these Madvent games, people expect something very short and not too in-depth for each day.
