Image description: A literal screenshot of card in Decker, with the toolbars visible. The background is a dithered black and white image of a cave mouth with hanging vegetation, there are three text boxes, from top to bottom: "The house is the world, everything is repeated many times, but two things seem to be repeated only once," "above, the sun," "below, Asterion." End ID.

I recognise there is a typo in that screenshot. That's fine, it is fixed now. This "game" in Decker is what I spent a lot of this week doing, between prepping planner stuff for a new month (already!) and other life things (got my flu and covid boosters Friday, which meant my Saturday was spent achy and good for only refining things in this Decker project). Some other things done:

  • Continuing working on this rotoscope thing.
  • Pulled some owl calls off my phone from a very fun owl conversation I got to overhear recently. Maybe not that interesting to you but they'll be a good way to keep familiar with audio editing, will share when I'm happy with them.
  • This week's blogpost is about what 10 minutes of writing a day really looks like and, of course, mentions a spreadsheet.
  • I do need to underline I spent most of this week working on this Decker game that is an interpretation of (a translation of) Borges' La Casa de Asterion, which is great I should have it to share this upcoming week.

There are a couple writing things (that are not part of my ten-minutes-a-day thing) that I did not work on this week, due to focusing on the game, but actually time is not a thing stolen from one task to the other so whatever. The way I count the weeks in my planner I still have a week to wrap them up.

Thank you as always for your support!
