I write down what I do or get done each day, for various reasons I've gone over before, and my favourite from this week is "Decker (but 0 progress made)." Listen, I tried! But then later in the week I cracked what had been bothering me. Sometimes zero progress is just laying the groundwork for figuring it out later. Like "loosening the lid" of a stubborn jar before somebody else helps you. Only it's future you finally opening the jar, I guess.
Anyway, things getting done:
- Continuing working on rotoscoping. I have like, a couple seconds done now wow.
- It doesn't matter to you really but I have a new water cup and I love it a lot.
- I've done my Yuletide fandom nominations and this year I have written down ones that caught my eye that I'd like to write for so I'm not caught out when it's signup time.
- Speaking of fanfic I did challenge myself to write a couple little ones this year, I am just not often struck by the bug but I wanted to have some writing to do that wasn't Flash Fiction Feburary or this book I'm writing a bit at a time. I selected (with the not-quite-help of my family Discord) a fandom and it will continue my habit of writing only the most niche shit possible I guess.
- I did figure out the thing I needed to in Decker. How I'm making this game-story is to build the skeleton of behaviour before adding the real text or nice images and atmosphere. I am! Learning!!
- The blogpost for the week is me embedding the videos I made last month into a post properly, because I'm incapable of remembering to share my work in a timely manner.
- Newsletter is clicking along, what if I get it done next week, wow.
