You're getting last week's update today instead of yesterday because I wore myself out yesterday walking about (we went to a zine fest and a museum). Here's the week's rundown, as usual looking paltry despite the actual work done:
- I realised I hadn't taken the time to write out character descriptions for this project I'm writing (which is NOT the project that is launching June 21, btw) so I spent last week doing that and it was very helpful, sort of locking in backgrounds and looks in a way that will be useful later. This whole thing has been a different approach to how I write, and proper bios is part of it, I guess.
- I finished crocheting a top I had gotten literally 99% on (and dyed yarn for, if you remember), it literally just needed some rows. It is hideous and I'm all about it, we'll see how it handles a wash and then I'll share.
- Worked on the next newsletter hooray.
- Decided that what I needed to make sure I remember to repost/reblog the already-queued promo posts for the upcoming serialised book project was pull quote images, so I've been doing those. You wouldn't know it by my desultory attempts so far but I am going to actually try and promote this.
- Blog post last week was on some cool publishers I encountered at the book fair we went to last weekend. Yes! TWO weekends out in a row, thank you public transit for making it nice and easy.
