The first successful year I did Flash Fiction February I did it on an AlphaSmart 3000 and this year I'm having fun doing it on my Dana.

There is something nice about knowing your limitations. I just can't get writing done Friday evenings, that's my lazy brain time. I'm not going to get any writing in on non-flash fic February pieces this month, also fine! I have things AND stuff I gotta do and it's nice to focus on those instead.

(A note here that if you're a $1+ subscriber on Patreon or Comradery, then you'll get a dump of the week's writing tomorrow!)

Some of the things and stuff this week were things like! Making appointments! Please clap!!

But here's the probably more interesting stuff from this week:

  • I finished newsletter zine #12, which means this upcoming week is gathering zines 7-12 together and putting them up on Itch to accompany the first batch, two years of newsletters, collected into a dozen zines! I think that's a neat accomplishment.
  • Progress, if slow, being made on March's newsletter, speaking of.
  • I went through my stashes and pulled out fabric for the next two sewing projects, which should be pretty fast to work up. I am loving this bingo card approach to getting things done. If you're on Tumblr, 2026 Fiber Arts Bingo is a fun follow. It's nice to see other people working on things!
  • Speaking of, it's been nice to be participating in the Discord for Storytelling Co.'s Flash Fiction February, I'm not reading as many other folks' work as I'd like but it's also just nice to be doing things the same time as others.
  • The blogpost for this week is just a short silly one about the random things I will find on my phone in the morning, thanks to my habit of looking up random things right before going to bed.

Thank you as always for your support!
