Would you BELIEVE that making my daily writing goals in addition to daily Flash Fiction February goals is not something I've been able to do? Lol, well! In my defense, the current longform project is one that I keep "resting" between sections of, as it's kind of a tricky story layout and I am enjoying taking time to let things simmer. So the first day of FFF I banged out the end of a section, plus my flash fic for the day, and then the following days have been letting thoughts cook while doing all the other things I have going on and also getting my flash fic in.

(A note here that if you're a $1+ subscriber on Patreon or Comradery, then you'll get a dump of the week's writing tomorrow!)

And, what other than 400-700 word flash fics a day did I get done this week?

  • I frogged a weird little guy I made when I had a sinus infection and just needed something to do with my hands while fevered, fulfilling another square on fiber arts bingo. Tumblr post about it here, if you're interested.
  • Blogpost for this week was a bookpost of what I read in January. Hilariously my top-rated book is one we're now listening to as an audio book, which is my new favourite thing: read a non-fiction, then share a re-read of that non-fiction with Chase via audiobook.
  • I worked on another newsletter compilation zine--once this one is done then I'll have another year collected and will drop another compilation over on my Itch.
  • More progress was made on that ~mysterious project~ I'll share soon enough.

This year I decided to partake in the Discord community for the flash fic challenge, which has been fun! It's fun to read other people's work and also just have a little soft void to shout in, or listen to the echos of, as one plugs away at this exercise.

Thank you as always for your support!
