I had a lovely week off. I even did something (went to the aquarium), which should please the people who inevitably ask "what did you do on your vacation" and look confused and upset when you explain you did nothing and then you have to find a way to distract them because they'll never understand that going places costs money and mostly you take time off to just rest and not be beholden to work.
Because I am who I am I very much did do things but they're not what most people would call productive--which is great because I don't aim to be productive.
- I re-tightened the fix I'd done on the couch in the fall, which was expected because rope-strung support needs to have the slack taken in. Truly well over metal springs in furniture I'll tell you what.
- I finished this playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas, which YES did take a long time because I was gently picking through it for Reasons (TM). I'm now not allowed to start a new run until next fall.
- I cleaned the hell out of under the bed, which included re-organising some storage and also vacuuming oh so much. Please know I am so brave, I hate the vacuum.
- I also cleaned and reorganised a bunch of my other craft storage in our tiny apartment. It is maddening sometimes to work in so many mediums and have so little time and space for them. Oh well!!
- The blog post this week announced that I'll be serialising a new story and I'm not being pushy about it yet because it doesn't start until June and it feels weird to be daily promo-ing this far out.
- I queued all the promo for the serialisation updates, so as long as my computer is turned on on Sundays, not only will the updates post but so will the fun little bits of promo text I've set up for them on my socials. Shout out to PostyBirb, which really does rock.
- I set up reverse sales (raising prices) on some bundles on Itch for my newsletter zines and my flash fic collections. This was done on my birthday in a staggering display of self-confidence.
I'm running close to the wire on finishing the newsletter, but such is life. I also doubt I'll truly get the tumblr tag cleanup 100% done this month but it'll be close, I think.
Thank you as always for your support!
