These sort of weeks are always funny in how they play out in my planners. I start my planner weeks on Mondays, so when the last of the month is part of the early week it's like I get a bonus little week of wrap up. Which is particularly funny this month, where I hit all my goals last week anyway so I get to just faff about (not really, there's always something to be worked on, but it's extra credit). Honestly though, with the rather strong heat and all, I've appreciated the space to do what I can while I am slowly being steamed into pudding.

  • I set up my planner goals for the last third of the year, I realise I need to find another notebook JUST like this one, truly what a boon it was for me to do two kinds of weekly spreads this year.
  • The final hand stitching details on the shorts I made got done and this week's blog post is basically a duplicate of what I put on Tumblr for the Fiber Arts Bingo (use the precious fabric, make it again).
  • The newsletter for September is all queued up, hope you like trains.
  • Speaking of, I made a Bluesky feed for the newsletter and another one for The Consoling Divide updates, mostly so I can keep track of the dang things, but maybe other folks would find them useful. Who knows, maybe it will make it easier for me to promote my own work (probably not).
  • We did a little tie dye on some new tops of mine yesterday, as a way to both use up some very old dye and also to head off that clean white never stays that way well around me. Might as well mark it up now.

With a chill week for me coming up I'm mostly going to enjoy maybe not sweating all the time, working on this rotoscope I'm learning and getting ahead of what September goals I've got. Oh, and writing, hopefully. If my brain isn't just melting jelly, that is.

As always, thank you for your support!
