Leaning against the stack is Martian Time-Slip by Phillip K. Dick, the cover showing a man hoeing a crop in an alien landscape, a futuristic looking house in the valley below him. End ID.

Wild as hell November is over. Like, okay! Also, I remembered to participate in Itchio's Black Friday Sale, which ends 12/03/25. As usual, my stuff is all 50% off or get all the writing for $5. As for things done: a fruitful week, I think, let's jump in.

  • If you follow me on socials then you saw me sharing Café By-The-Sea, a new kinda-creepy story. I'm trying to do this thing where if I write a story that seems salable I give it a chance on some markets and if nobody bites then onto the blog it goes. I kinda just want people to read what I write, more than I wanna fuss with submitting to places. But! Growth is important and my friends are annoying and supportive so I've been trying but! No luck yet so all the better for my blog archives.
  • Related I am trying to be modern and better about reposting/promoting stuff I have to share. I am! Not great at it!! Shout out to my sibling Johnny, who streams games and is probably my best booster, thank you, bro.
  • I finished crocheting this sweater but y'all: I forgot when making it that I am kind of a small human so my attempt to be a bit oversized, ah, was a bit beyond. I think it is salvageable, because it's mostly just too deep a neck that is throwing it off-shoulder in an annoying way, so we will see. I will win this craft.
  • We are in my holiday gift and card prep season and I'm making good progress on that, which you won't get to see until January, sorry.
  • A goodly bit of household, health, and planner nonsense managed this week as well. Amazing what one can accomplish with a three-day work week.
  • I have passed 16k words on this current project, which is rad. I'll be getting into the crunch of it soon, for better or worse. Having fun with it, though.

Also, Chase's mom (who is a librarian) sent us some very primo books from a recent donation to her library's booksale. They're in wildly good condition, read once and shelved kind of thing. Sorry, new friends, you will be eventually as battered and loved as the rest.

Thank you as always for your support!
