The big thing I got done this week was my story for the Yuletide fic exchange. This is my second year doing it after a lot of years of wanting to participate and I hope I get to keep doing it for years to come. It's so fun to write for others!!
Focusing on Yuletide does mean I let the current long-form project sit a bit this week, which is fine. I'm working on it in chunks in a very specific way and I've been sort of "resting" between each run of getting words in a doc, so it timed out kind of nicely actually. Also this week:
- I got my weekly, very bloggy-blog post up.
- Figured out the holiday card for this year, which is more difficult than you think when you've been doing it for, haha, almost 20 years.
- Finished the second sleeve (of two, lol) on the sweater I'm crocheting. I also dyed the yarn for the finishing trim AND wound it all back into a centre-pull skein. I have not dyed yarn before! I might do it again ONCE but lol, it's so much more of a hassle than fabric!
- This is also probably very boring but I remembered to set up the upcoming sales at Itch (my standard 50% off/$5 for all) and Smashwords (where you can just get The Audacity Gambit for free, from December 8 until the new year). I often forget, so I am personally proud of myself to have been ahead of the game this time.
Anyway, it's been cold as hell (for here), but it'll be a predicted 80f/27c on Wednesday because transitional seasons are weird as hell. Thank you as always for your support!
