This was a real mid of a week for me, "getting things done-wise" or it felt like it anyway. I mean I have another short story up on the blog, I designed a fun worksheet/game that I will share on the blog once I play-test it (which is why no blog post this week, as it's drafted but not done), I finished embroidering the cuffs on my coat and the mend should last another nine years, I am now caught up on newsletter zines, I wrote, I did some important household stuff.

And yet? Still feel like I didn't do much. Partly that is because I did a normal amount but not loads as I've done previous weeks (comparative), and partly that's because I just had to rip out half of the front of a sweater I was crocheting.

I haven't used crochet to make more than hats and scarves and small things before, so I was very excited to be nearing 1/4 done on this pattern. Not meant to be. Which is FINE. Actually. There are many advantages to having to redo this, I keep telling myself. Anyway, I did have a nice and fruitful week and also this week I read an interview with someone who only aims for about 500 words on their book a day because that's always achievable for them around other life things and I was like "oh thank god."

It might be, my friends, that the whole week off I have upcoming is well-needed. YES, I make a to-do list for my vacation weeks but that's because we have to trick the brain somehow and mostly it is nice things I never give myself time to do.

Anyway, it's a time! Be kind to yourselves and be impressed by what you're getting done in spite it all and as always thank you for your support!
