Image description: A hand is gently holding a small light grey ribbon rosette, like the kind one wins at a fair. It is small enough to only just be longer than the width of the hand as it rests across the fingers. End ID.

A lovely thing about owning a ribbon maker is you can make yourself a ribbon whenever you need it.

The big thing this week is I got the next newsletter done when I wasn't expecting to for a week, so that is nice. Time to start on the next as I'd like a queue again. Remember they're all available online to read but that one can always choose to get something gentle in their inbox once a month.

I also:

  • Officially set my nominations for Yuletide.
  • Finished that Sierra Madre Casino snow globe and made a blog post about it.
  • Started the next compiled newsletter zine and am almost done with it (I'm only two zines away from being caught up to now!).
  • Expanded more on the worldbuilding for the current writing project, because I did need it.
  • Darned a sock (please clap, I am bad at darning).
  • Survived a skunk walking by the bedroom at 4:30a and spraying while there was a window fan in.

It was a good week but a weird one due to the skunk thing happening the same day I took off sick. Despite it all I will still go "ugh, day off sick, maybe I'll get writing done" then sleep the whole day and have to be like "this is not a moral failing, what did you think would happen."

Anyway, thank you as always for supporting me!
