The Transit Trekker Manual is a different kind of travel guide. It offers essential info and resources to help you plan and enjoy car-free outdoor recreation trips that apps can’t deliver, and encourages readers to support advocacy efforts to expand rural mobility to strengthen communities and improve car-free access to outdoor recreation for everyone. Other stuff to know:

The manual includes tips from a seasoned transit trekker (me) for car-free day trips, backpacking, biking, and e-biking
First release will be for Washington state; additional releases planned for other regions
Initially issued in e-reader and PDF formats; Print edition TBD based on interest
Sign up for the very occasional newsletter on the Transit Trekker site to get access to a sample trip guide.
