hello everyone! i'm ecstatic to announce that Trans Questioning is coming back! you can find it in the same old feed or search Trans Questioning wherever you get your podcasts. i talk about why it's back in the episode, but the short version is that it felt like the right time. i've been itching to get back into podcasting, and at the same time i've been taking my transition seriously again for the first time in years.
this episode covers late november 2024 to late january 2025, from before my first laser hair removal appointment to after my second. naturally, the political reality of post-24-election america comes up once or twice as well.
the regular season will start biweekly episodes sometime around the end of february or early march. i'm doing this because i need a recurring project to keep me grounded, and because i believe now more than ever trans voices need to be heard.
other updates: the halloween vlogs are almost done, and the farther out from halloween we get the funnier they'll be. the TQ2 episode explains why it's taken me so long on that front. the LOST video is still in development but a lot of new materials released in the last few months for the 20th anniversary (most notably the documentary Getting LOST, which interviewed a ton of the cast and has a bluray coming out featuring a ton of cut material that i suspect will be relevant to my purposes), so don't expect it to be just around the corner. in the meantime, i've got an essay about Dead Ringers 2023 90% recorded (here's a montage i put together of every use of the word "fuck" during the show's runtime), and i've got another cockamamie scheme cooking involving Majora's Mask whose details i dare not yet reveal.
as always, thank you for your support in these strange times. i look forward to continuing to exist despite the exaltations of the technocratic nincompoops running things that now is the time of the bigot, the profiteer, the con man. i believe now is the time of the gutter, clogged and flooding over the ankles of the rich and powerful convinced that the ground they walk in is firm. i intend to live long enough to see how this all plays out, and i hope you'll stick to it with me.
