murder by death has been one of my favorite bands for a long time now, and their new album scratched such an itch for me that i felt compelled to talk about it in a video.
i knew going in that this analysis was, more than anything, a gift from myself to me- a chance to talk about something i like without the pressure of having it all Figured Out. so i don't expect it to do numbers, and honestly that's okay. i got what i needed out of this one, which was a reminder that making video essays can be... fun? feels like it taught me a lot, oddly enough. i'll probably have more to say about that down the line, but for now... enjoy!!!!
