so sorry for my missed monthly. its been kind of chaotic this year, as yall know. trying to juggle work when my sched is hard to set and my health when my blood pressure is goin WOOOO and my meds when im discovering 'oh hell missing a day of venlafaxine and then taking it the next day puts me in a 4 day manic state, that shouldnt be unless i have BIIIIIIIPOOOOOOOOLAAAAAAAAAAAR' and looking up a psychiatrist and ALSO throw in there i gotta change an endocrinologist bc idk what this ones problem was but i suspect it starts with a "t" and ends with a "ransman"

i'm really HOPING i can still make good on my wish to send out a sticker book to every sticker club member this holiday season, but money is /very/ tight on my end. i HAVE found that reasonably priced domestic printer, with whomst book 6 got printed (theyre in the shop if you missed the announcement!) but i have NOT found the time to scan the two last arcs that need a hi-res file: 7 & 8.
i had been hoping to apply for some arts grants, but i fear the window might be shut on those for now.
in the meantime, ive been doing daily draw poison pokemon art for poketober and dumping it on social media with partial coverage on art sites. but its a pain in the ass to scroll, so heres a gallery of my pokemon daily draw art for october this year. yea, its the 30th and i still have to draw some more. shhshshh im doing my best
some days the forest fire that is this reality seems all around me and like my skin is peeling off, and sometimes it feels like i'm just watching the ashes smoulder and drinking my coffee.
NIKITAK NOVEMBER is coming, rain or shine, fash or fight, and i am going to feel a great wave of mental relief just giving my brain up to drawing friendly space noodles. i am really hoping to be off duty at work-with-the-kid-job before the roads become cold and icy, but that's very up in the air because the AI based tech end of the entire company that replaced all but 4 HR ppl and i think One tech guy is........... well, problematic would be a gentle word for a workplace that depends on this incredibly hostile and badly built technology. but if i CAN get free of the workplace for winter, i can most likely scan the comic arcs and launch a fundraiser to print the omni........ if i take irresponsible ownership of this new knowledge that my body reacts to certain things with hypomania, intentionally trigger it, and go through a burst of productivity and mild euphoria.
