hey crew, this took me a minute to write up but at least it's for a good reason!
swapping my meds to night time seems to have alleviated my fatigue significantly. and so i was able to kick off nikitak november (which i have not done in YEARS) and am having a lot of fun drawing folks as space noodles. i'm also almost done the minizine for this month!
sticker club has gone out already - tho it might be a lil vegan-ish for an american food holiday, it felt right. when i was a tween i drew this burger with legs mooing /all/ the time in school. it was a very rural area and i was frequently heckled for not wanting to eat mammal meat and this "moo burger" was my sullen quiet vent response. it didn't always have a knife strapped to the top, but that was absolutely fav. i think i originally called that 'revenge of the moo-burger' lmao
ren has officially passed her 17th birthday, which is really old for a cat!! she had a medical scare where she fainted as well but no labwork offered answers. we'll be getting her an appointment with a vet cardiologist soon, but i suspect the real culprit is just that she is OLD. 'cat age' calculators aproximate that if she was a human she would be 84!! so really, anything including too much stress or water going down the wrong tube drinking can cause a fainting spell. nana is so small and has weak kidneys and arthritis! but she's recovered from whatever it was fully and we're very relieved by that.

i am also going to be in the Anthro New England artist alley on friday the 16th of january! there is no assigned seating in the alley, but if you walk straight back from the dealer den doorway you will find yourself there. we're largely along the back wall and sort of rear-guarding the charity fund setup (a large square central set of tables) and i will do my very best to come up with SOME kind of obvious signage.
