sorry for last month's general quiet - there were some major stressful emergencies that happened right in the middle of the month that threw everything off. but at least sticker club went out x.x
speaking of sticker club - the printer i use, a NV furry company called Wilde Prints, is in the process of upgrading their production. there's expected to be a close to 3 month downtime on stickers, so i've attempted to get in orders for all 3 months they'll be gone... but obviously so have many others, so i'm not entirely sure when this month's sticker club mail will go out. but here's the july sticker concept:
it's meant to tie in with the pride sketchbook i was working on of insect art - digital copy forthcoming, i still need to arrange it all into pdf.
i'm also NOW, FINALLY, getting my travel plans together to pick up restocked pokemon bug zines and the cryptozoology zine. hoping to have those in-hand before the month ends as well.
coming up are the events Plastic City Comic Con (i'll be leaning into pokemon stuff to sell here) and Worcester Pride. i will be trying to get some pokemon art prints ready for PCCC, and woo-pride i'm hoping to have at least one if not two printed versions of prior year pride sketchbook zines. i was hoping to get into the october furry event Furpocalypse, but the stars are not in alignment for that. rest in peas. live events really do have a serious impact on me deciding what does and does not get made in print!!
i really want to do more new things... but life does not stop coming at you, and i always feel like the sole person in a group project who cares about the grade and so will do all the work. i'm pretty exhausted just from this. but there's really nothing to be done for it... so i can only hope the slow pace at my age isn't turning everyone away from my work. i am after all not supported by any family and still struggling to find a job that will not discriminate against me for being trans. right now, the only job that can promise that is art.
now if only i had fewer house chores to constantly be taking care of, and more time to draw...
