We are celebrating 1 full year (as of November) since signing our lease. Our one year anniversary of being open is January, but a rent increase is coming since the 1 year mark hit. The increase is sizable, especially for our space, so we are asking for your support to help keep us sustainable.
In this year, we've been able to provide a bookstore, education and community event space for a community that was craving something like this. We have a community fridge and pantry that is used daily, we deliver hot meals to various encampments in the South East LA area bi weekly, we've hosted strike funds, connected folks to unions and labor organizers, taken folks to shelters to get out of extreme weather and much more that we don't post about.
So, any help you can provide through Comradery would be greatly appreciated! Get discounts on our books/merch with your support, as well as other original content coming, because we'd love to see Comradery grow to a legitimate alternative to crowdfunding sites that continue to platform straight up fascists.
