Happy Autumnal equinox, we made it!
A very very short reportback: Asinabka Festival was a delight. Visiting the north is always a good time and this extended weekend did not disappoint. Wopila, relatives.
Since I don’t have much to offer with this month’s update as far as words go I will leave you with a card pull for the Autumn equinox. I am using Colin Snyder’s Logos Divinae deck. Go check it out if you haven’t yet, it’s a playing card and tarot deck designed by a game and mythology and occult nerd. Also it’s beautiful.
I pulled card 76, Prometheus or Judgement in the popular tarot configurations. Various complex readings can be done into what this card might mean for an individual or a situation but in the words of Colin’s guide to Logos Divinae:
Prometheus | Judgement | Awakening & Reckoning | Rise to the occasion, and do not worry. Labor & wisdom shall free you.
Coming up:
I will have a piece in the ACES Expo exhibition Oct 9 - 11.
Come by for the party, which I cannot gaurantee I will be present for; or you can watch me awkwardly participate in the cypher on the 10th, which usually has a no computers rule but I am going to computer out of necessity for the glitch photography I will be doing. I promise it will be weird. I was hoping they would accept my talk about the project I showcased at the Seattle Design Fest about transgender healthcare access but for whatever reason they didn't. Either way it will be a cute event.
