Happy New Year of the Fire Horse and Ramadan Mubarak!
I've been thinking a lot about new beginnings and the possibilities inherent in change. I love that there are multiple New Years to celebrate because I want the opportunity to renew myself and my goals as often as possible. Every new day holds that possibility but a NEW YEAR, that is an excuse to assess my relationship to culture and time and if my goals even make sense. Also every culture's New Year has good food and dancing.
This newsletter is going out a few days late and is not very heavy on content because I've been busy trying to get employed. It's not going well.

I am also participating in the ElectricSEA hackathon March 26-29th. Unsure in what capacity I will be there as yet but the organizers did a great job with the Art & Tech Symposium last year and I am interested to see how this event unfolds.
Please enjoy this picture the Seattle Aquarium sent me of a little guy they found in their plankton tow (located on Pier 62 during Spring/Summer months) workshop. I am making them a little thing to help people learn about plankton and there are so many dope pictures of Little Guys.
