This one took too long. I tried a bunch of new stuff to create the look I wanted and had to rebuild this file from scratch after accidentally making some styles that asked Illustrator to create more paths than there are grains of of sand in every beach on Earth.

I'm still not 100% happy with it but it's enough to build on for further pages. The vibe ended upn being "Sergio Toppi on backgrounds, Ed Emberly on character design", which should be a lot of fun.
