Hello folks. I'm feeling low on thoughts to share this month, but full of questions. I'll share some that I've had on my mind this month, for you to ponder as they call to you too:
- As we emerge on the other side of the solstice, but the days stay short and cold, how do you embrace the darkness? What is there to find, to keep, to settle in with? What is there to bury, or to lay dormat for a few more months?
- How do you balance the inwardness of the cold and darkness with the brightness and warmth of staying in community, when the darkness is everywhere? Turning inward is not a bad thing, with the right balance -- what does that balance look like for you?
- Darkness is often related to the unknown in a way that evokes fear. What of the darkness can encourage us to be brave instead?
- What does it mean to have a beautiful life? How can we build a world where all people's needs are not just met, but exceeded?
I hope one or more of these questions resonates with you. Til next time, wishing you warmth and coziness amidst the darkness. As the days lengthen, may we stretch ourselves tenderly too.
