Hi friends,
here's a preview of the spot art for August wich includes many different things (knights riding llamas, space stuff, character portraits). I hope that you like them!
I am thinking that I might draw maps for september? I don't get to do maps that often and it will be interesting to work out how to put in enough information in the drawing without a map key.
I got to visit the countryside in august and do some little plein air watercolors.
I have been thinking lately about wanting to do more color work with analog media (watercolors, oil paints maybe?) but the hard part of that is photographing the colors accurately which adds a whole other step to the process. Watercolors are especially hard as the colors are transparent, so if you try to scan the art it just gets super blown out. I am going to figure this out!
