Hi Friends!
this month I have made some decorative boders to use where ever you like, in color and in black & white. It's about to be time to do subscriber requests as well, so if you are a 10$ subscriber keep an eye out for an email & think about what you'd like to get drawn!
I've been super busy working on art for a few different games. If you haven't already seen it, check out the backerkit for the Liminal Horror game The Parthenogenesis of Hungry Hollow: https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/space-penguin-ink/the-parthenogenesis-of-hungry-hollow-for-liminal-horror#top
I did all the art for this game and I have made it as drippy and terrible as possible- most of it is done in ink on Yupo, which is a king of plastic paper that you can just pool up water on and then drop ink onto so it flows in all kinds of weird ways.

Its kind of hard to work with because if you touch the surface with your fingers at all there's a resist where the ink won't go so I had to wear gloves the whole time. I also did real oil paintings for the front & back covers. I'm really proud of the art for the book and the layout looks so good, and themes of small town weirdness & birth and monstrous bodies are things that I'm really interested in & love thinking about.

There's also lots more episodes of Fantasy Art History posted on youtube! We are gradually getting batter at this & fixing up the sound quality & we have even had a special guest! This week we talked about the comic Berserk: https://youtu.be/Ha4LOhczb2w?si=qoJfeD21B78WgXp7
I've also been working on collecting feedback from playtesters about the Dungeon Home game(I'm planning on doing a big revision in August). So far I have been hearing that the chart works pretty well, even though it is so long, and I've gotten lots of good advice about ways to streamline the rules and make it easier to play. I'm probably going to rearrange some sections in the text and work on taking some of the gameplay (like the faction rules) and working that into the big chart instead of having it be a seperate thing that needs to be tracked. It's been really exciting to hear about people's different experiences with the game & see how their dungeons are all so different. When everything is revised I'll post it here for subscribers, of course, and I'm thinking about maybe even doing a print run with real layout that I have not just done myself.
Hope you are having a nice summer,
Amanda
